Have you witnessed a miraculous sign upon the land that left you looking upwards towards the heavens in complete gratitude? This event occurred in Palmdale CA, as I was living close by, in a small town of Rosamond, CA. I visited the Mohave Desert near the rolling hills of Palmdale and was able to witness a grand phenomena, it was blooming poppy flowers that came up rarely, after the desert received some rain. The hills became covered by blankets of colorful floral, that resembled that of a desert hill side on fire for miles and miles. The sun shone threw these blossoms and the fragrance was almost unimaginable. It was breathtaking, getting to sit in a picnic blanket and marvel at His beauty. It was like a piece of heaven touching down to show us the paintbrush strokes of our magnificent creator. Many flocked across the state to come out and photograph as well as experience this beautiful sight. It was truly a sign upon the land, that I feel marked me to this day, along with the desert shrimp coming to life after a fresh rain on the hard, cracked lake bed floor. For years it had been dead, no life, no water, just dust and death. But at the first rain, the floor would remain blanketed with a layer of water that made that dry bed become a lake that awakened dead larva and brought fourth new life. New awakening in the desert floors. Just as I see the Lord getting ready to awaken everything that has been in slumber in our own lives. I call Dead things to Life in you, through the Resurrection Power of Jesus! As his waters are getting ready to rain over all the desert floors, I say get ready remnant, your Father is opening the irrigation channels from the heavenly realm.
My sister Erica had taken me in during this time, right after I came out of college, about 2003-2004. She became a powerful instrument to show me the love of forgiveness and grace, by giving out of her heart an unconditional love, one I did not deserve. She allowed me to stay with her so that I could pay off my college debts, which had grown quite significantly. She also gave me an opportunity to restrengthen my foundations upon the word of God, and helped to serve as a mentor in my life at just the right hour! It was during this time that I was able to re-calibrate my foundations upon the word of God, through his Holy Spirit! If I had not had these very important grace moments, I could have missed my call and still been striving in a world of uncertainty. I believe that during this time the Lord, Jesus is filling in all the gaps that we once allowed to form any strife or separation, and he is allowing each of us to encounter his radical, overflowing grace. With it, will be a release of debt, both spiritually, emotionally and physically. For those who have been tired because the world has beat them down, and their strength is failing them, I believe an impartation of Gods refreshing rains are being released, NOW. I pray that this is your year for debt cancellation and restoration over all your finances. As well as a time of strategic partnership alignments and kingdom relationships! I decree a stepping up into heavenly encounters and a year of favor over your family! This is your year to walk in the Joseph anointing of favor, as we know he came out of the prison and was elevated by his gifts and obedience to God, as he listened to Holy Spirit to interpret dreams and he partnered with God so much that he was allowed to be a conduit to save an entire nation!
I had come out of college with a double degree in International business and finance, with a minor in Spanish. And even though I had received these new accreditation, the new world I was stepping into felt pretty cold. I had just stepped out of a failed relationship that left my heart crushed and truly, inside I was suffering from severe depression. How could one have so much promise on the outside and yet, feel an unsteady storm on the inside of our hearts. I knew about God, but I had chose to walk away from him, into a world that had promised me more. As a child I had tasted of his goodness and his promises that were released over us and got us through some hard times and poverty, but as a young adult I had been enticed to step outside of his word. Thus, the extremities of my home, felt like the gates of Jerusalem, before Nehemiah came into the scene to survey all that had been destroyed. (Read book of Nehemiah) My inability to hear the Lord and listen to his Spirit in my life, had led me to hurt many people that I had loved very dearly, and thus, I felt like an outcast in my own body. Self-hate had built up and animosity towards seeing myself in any good light. Until, Jesus of course! I believe that as we hand over our strife and reliance of our own strength we will start to see Jesus flood our homes at this hour. We will start to see the rebuilding of our walls as Jesus releases an edict over us, to have every angel accompany us in a task of resettling our hearts soil again for His seed and purpose. Our load will become less weighed down and we will begin to see the freedom of traveling with His Holy Spirit. As he brings freedom and refreshing with his winds. And we will begin to be trees planted near the riverbanks, with roots that reach deep into the waters. Jeremiah 17:5-10
The Beauty of Jesus is that he has the ability to bring the worst sinner into a perfect unity and head on encounter with his love. It was in my fear, doubt and depression that Jesus found me. Many nights in my sisters home, I cried out to Jesus for forgiveness, and never felt like it could come quickly enough, as the voice of condemnation had me gripped. I was being beat down by the enemies accusations, which were all true, but failed to release the truth about the mercy seat that had already been impressed with his blood and finished all the work, so that I could come back into restoration with Jesus. Memories of rebellion, and wrong choices became tormenting shadows, yelling and hurling insults, you will never be loved, your far too removed, you've hurt too many people. Tear after tear could have been collected in a bucket, as my remorse was so heavy, night after night I plead with the Lord, to release me from the world. I had been walking the lines of mediocrity, swaying the line of wild living, partying, alcohol, lustful living, materialism and self pursuit for the last six years! All this had brought me to a point of dire depression and loneliness, dragging me so far under that I hated life and didn't have an ounce of joy left. It was truly at that rock bottom point that I realized that I had to find Jesus, the firm Rock or cornerstone at the bottom. I began to pursue him even if it was tough at first. I began to pilgrimage up a desert mountain almost daily in hope of meeting him at the top. I was warned to watch for Mohave rattle snakes as there were many upon this journey, and even if I may have seen a few, I pressed forward in obedience! It began as a form of penance, I would work hard to meet him and he would truly have to be there. But what I started realizing in the midst of my search, is that he was not just at the top when I got there, but he was there for me along the journey as well. He was catching my tears at night and he was preserving them into a vase that would later become poured over my head as grace so radically would cover me. Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. As I reached the top of this mountain, I would take a moment to sit under the shade of a desert tree, as I gave him thanks for my deliverance before I was fully there. He would allow me to catch an image of a sunset over the desert floor and it looked like an ocean and a rainbow came over the desert, it released an all consuming love, one that I could not yet find words for, just greater than I've ever known. He was speaking of the MORE with images that filled the horizon with his light and hope. Reminding me of the rainbow that is spoken of that surrounds his thrown. (Ezekiel 1:28) It's radical grace that covered me, and showed me just how loved and received I really was! My soul began to journey into a deep process of inner healing that would change my life forever.
Perhaps you have been in need of restoration in your own life? Let me tell you as you begin to step towards Jesus, he runs toward you with two arms wide open! He is the most wonderful father, and his heart of compassion moves Him to love us despite our inadequacies. Just as the prodigal son, was coming in the horizon, his father saw him and didn't just wait for him to get home, he ran toward him and embraced him and then lavished him with his love. Luke 15:11-32. He cleaned him up and placed a signature ring upon his finger, signifying that he was back in the family and also carried his fathers authority! Jesus sees us through the blood and already sees us as if though we have never sinned. However, we need to see ourselves through that same lens of grace, love and mercy as well. As we receive his grace, it will purge us and cleanse us into healing our soul. It will be the reality that brings us to full and complete healing. Jesus paid a high price so that we could come back to the garden and fellowship with the father, he purchased our clean garments, so that we could once again enter into his fellowship and be marry. Have you stepped into the fullness of that Grace gift? Have you felt set free from all the tares of this world? If not, let us come into prayer together!
Jesus, we thank you for your amazing Love that is right now available for each one of your children. We thank you for extending a period of grace that would allow all your children to come into your presence again to be strengthening and restored. We thank you that your blood speaks higher than our sins, and as we give you all our heart, we are being washed clean. We thank you for a refreshing that is coming over each of your children. As they receive all the grace you have given, I pray that they encounter new visions that will show them the full purpose and intent you have always had over their lives. Thank you for your plans over their lives. Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (NKJV).
I thank you for provision and breakthrough over their finances and releasing a year of jubilee for debt cancellation Lord. We decree that your children will receive the blessing of freedom in every area of their lives as they partner with your Holy Spirit and receive his mentor-ship. Lord we submit to your ways and your plans as they are much better than ours. We pray for the prodigal sons to come home and be reconciled back to their fathers and unto God! Thank you for single people who have been praying for marriages, bless them with finding their Boaz (Read Ruth) at the perfect moments Lord. Increase and release the MORE, as your fire is being released consecrate us all! Let the Breathe of the Lion of Judah released strength over the remnant to press on towards the greatest reward! Being with you Jesus! Let the rains come down and water ever crevice until all the desert soil in our lives become like green pastures again. We thank you for the Power of your Word, your Spirit and your Presence! Isaiah 35:1-2 The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, The excellency of our God.
